Across our communities, too many men, young and old, are suffering quietly and alone. That silence turns into torment and anguish. It spreads to families, fractures friendships, and weakens communities. Left unchecked, it leads to outcomes we should never accept.
This is not happening in a vacuum. The suffering of men today is not random, and it is not caused by one thing. It is the result of a deeper breakdown. Men are more disconnected, more isolated, and more without direction than ever before. The structures that once gave men purpose, accountability, and community have weakened, and nothing meaningful has replaced them. Instead, the modern world pulls men toward distraction. Cartoonish vice merchants sell materialism. Digital noise promotes reaction over direction. Real-world communities that once grounded men continue to disintegrate. The result is a growing number of men carrying weight with no outlet, no guidance, and no clear path forward.
Strengthen Our Sons is an Orlando, FL–based organization committed to confronting and defeating the men's health crisis for this generation and those to come. We build stronger men through spiritual fortitude, mental resilience, physical fitness, personal responsibility, economic opportunity, and community.

I get it. This world is a rough place. It's hard out there. And that's putting it lightly.
I've been blessed with an incredible family, great friends, and real opportunities. But over the past 10+ years, I've fallen. I've stumbled. I've dropped the ball. I've hit some of my lowest lows while battling severe depression in ways that felt unfathomable. It can happen to anyone.
Because of the choices I made and the damage I caused myself, I had a decision to make. Instead of taking a way out that would have destroyed me, I checked into a recovery facility to start the process of getting back to Johnny Tricoli.
It took time, and it's still taking time. But the work is getting done.
Fear, anger, and hatred are filling the minds and bodies of men today. They create isolation within and around us. And from that isolation, suffering grows. It feeds. It consumes.
If you are fearful, if you are angry, if you are filled with hatred, you will suffer. Cut the fear loose. Let it go. Release it. Pray. Seek medical help as soon as possible. Exercise. Call someone you trust and love, even if it's just to hear their voice. Listen. There is good in this world, and it's worth fighting for. Invest in yourself. You are worth it.

Service to others unlocks something powerful in a man: purpose, faith, physical vitality, honest connection, and community. These are not soft ideals. They are the foundation of a life well lived.
Too often, service is hidden behind gatekeeping. Unnecessary friction. Requirements, applications, and heavy commitments turn a willing heart into a frustrated one.
SoS seeks to provide and promote service that is open to anyone ready to show up. No barriers. Just do what you can, where you are, with what you have. The service you give is enough. And when others witness it, it becomes contagious.
Every year, Strengthen Our Sons provides Easter baskets to families who may not have the means to celebrate. Easter is a time of renewal, generosity, and joy towards others. If you would like to participate or learn more, please contact Johnny Tricoli.
Support or offer volunteer work to Orlando Union Rescue Mission. OURM offers long-term transitional housing for the most vulnerable in the Central Florida community.
The SoS Showcase is the event that represents the launch of Phase 1 of our philanthropic mission and the work we will grow in the years ahead.
